Development Timeline
1986 – 1999: Engaged in the import and distribution of wheat flour, primarily sourced from Japan. Major suppliers included Nippon, Chiba, Nitto, and Toridge. During this period, Đại Phong was the largest privately-owned company in Vietnam.
2000: Inaugurated its first wheat flour manufacturing plant in Trà Nóc Industrial Park, Cần Thơ, and transitioned into a limited liability company.
2004: Established the Intermix premixed flour manufacturing facility.
2012: Formed a joint venture as Showa and Itochu partnered with Đại Phong to invest in Intermix.
2015: Attained ISO 22000:2005 certification, demonstrating compliance with international food safety management standards.
2016: Obtained HALAL certification, a prerequisite for exporting to Muslim-majority countries.
2017: Achieved FSSC 22000 certification, further affirming the company’s commitment to food safety and quality management.
